Recent Troop Activities

Scout Ski Night (12/28) - 15 Participants had a great time at Bristol Mountain. Although limited trails, no crowds and conditions were unexpectedly quite good.

Patrol Leader Council - The Patrol Leader Council began working on leadership training for the group to increase their leadership skills.

 

Upcoming Troop Activities

Klondike at Ellison Park (1/20 - 1/22) - Troop 310 is presenting Leave No Trace and we are encouraging all boys to attend at least on Saturday when a number of events will be taking place. We also encourage boys to try winter camping for this event. An additional Planning Meeting will be held Monday 1/16 at PUMC inplace of a normal Troop meeting.

Court Of Honor (1/28) - Winter Court of Honor will be 1/28 at the Faith Lutheran Church at 2576 Browncroft Blvd., Rochester, NY 14625. Please bring a dish to pass and scouts prepare desserts. Awards for the most popular dessert. Dinner at 5 and COH to follow at 6. Auditorium on the East side of the building.

Scout Ski Night at Bristol Mountain (2/22) - Sign Up sheets at the meetings. Need final sign-ups and payment at 1/30th troop meeting. Contact Mr. Parker for any questions.

February Campout Camp Cutler (2/3 - 2/5)

Summer Camp at Massawepie (8/5 - 8/11) - Troop will be going to Massawepie this year as a change from the annual visit to Sabattis. Sign-up sheets available at the troop meetings. More info to follow. Mr. Lindskoog will be leading a Trek for the week for the older scouts. Please check your email for more information on the Trek details.

 

Other Activities

Merit Badge University - Saint John Fisher College on Sunday 2/26. Mr. Hastings will be signing up as our Troop Leader to allow Troop 310 scouts to participate. Fee is $10 per scout. See www.senecawaterways.org (Merit badge) for more information.

Re-Charter - Troop has rechartered and 2012 dues should be paid to Mr. Allchin by the end of January.
